Golden Triangle Mother & Child

This Mother and Child are from the hill tribes of the Golden Triangle in the union of Myanmar , Thailand , and Laos ; some hill tribes are also in China and Vietnam . They still wear entirely handmade and very distinctive clothing; wrap skirts, tunic tops, with a carrying shawl. Replicas of adult clothing are made for their children, with attractive pompon bonnets. Most of these tribes are cultivators of rice and maize, and often move from place to place.
